I joined OGR Stock Denton in August 2019 as a paralegal in the Company Commercial department after having completed the Legal Practice Course.
I assisted on a wide range of matters and transactions, including a share sale to a US corporate buyer, corporate reorganisations and intra-group transfers. I gained experience drafting various documents such as disclosure letters, complex board minutes and resolutions, GDPR compliant cookie policies and non-disclosure agreements.
Additionally, I often assisted on matters relating to employment law, including drafting template contracts of employment and directors’ service agreements, and assisting an international client with making part of its UK based workforce redundant.
I began my Training Contract in March 2020 and undertook a seat in the Family department, where I assisted with various divorce and financial remedy matters, as well as gaining experience in relation to Children proceedings.
I am currently placed in the Litigation department where I am assisting with various matters, such as contentious probate, shareholder disputes and property litigation.
